Project – Interior of Dental Office in McMinnville, Oregon
Size – 2,000 square feet
Time – 3 days so business would not be disturbed.
Material Used – Harmony by Sherwin Williams, a low odor, zero VOC’s premium paint.
We were contracted as house painters for the interior of an active dentist office in McMinnville, Oregon. We had to complete the job in just 3 days while the office was closed so patients weren’t inconvenienced. We chose a paint with a very low odor and zero VOC so there would be no lingering smells.
The original office had been painted in a very clinical and boring white. We brought in our go-to designer, Kim Morris, from Morris Design and she chose colors that added interest and style. She suggested a color pallet of Devine Macadamia, Devine Cocoa, and Devine Peanut, all from Devine Color. She recommended Kendall Charcoal HC-166 from
Benjamin Moore for the doors. The colors brought life into the dental office.
Take a look at the front door. It’s made of fiberglass which was originally stained and clear coated. The clear coat had degraded. The sun bleached out the stain making the door look awful. We stripped the stain from the door, then applied an oil-based bonding primer followed by 2 coats of high quality exterior paint from Sherwin Williams called Pro Industrial 0-VOC Acrylic.
It looks so inviting; you might find yourself wanting to visit the dentist in McMinnville, Oregon.
