Exterior House Painting Project Summary – September 2010

We used three colors to transform this home. As you can see it came out great. There was a fair amount of surface preparation including sanding and scraping before we apllied an oil based primer.
The biggest challenge was painting the aluminum windows. We removed all the screens and masked off the glass before applying a water based wash primer which has wonderful adhesion to the aluminum.Then we sprayed the window trim a reddish color chosen by the owner.
We brought in a carpenter friend of ours to install the shutters adding a nice touch to the exterior decor which we painted white.
The entire job took about 5 working days to complete. We provide painting and specialty coatings to residential homes and commercial properties from McMinnville to Portland Oregon.
