The team at Smith & Co. did an amazing job painting the exterior of our home!We bid this project with three separate contractors.  Not only was Parker at Smith & Co. the fastest to prepare our quote, their preparation, communication and in-depth comprehensive quote really impressed us.  And their quote was very competitive.  So why did we choose Smith & Co.?  They had a slightly longer lead time than the other bidders.  Which only tells me that their demand is greater.  This is a good thing and something everyone should look for.  They have a long-standing reputation for excellence in the community.  And after reading the stellar reviews left by previous customers it was a simple choice.Everyone from the office staff to the paint crews are some of the nicest and most professional people you could hope to do business with.  We started with the bidding process mid-March.  After two days of review on our part, we signed the agreement, paid the deposit and settled on the time frame to have the work completed.  Parker was very helpful in selecting our paint colors.  We wanted to stay reasonably close to the existing three colors and they absolutely nailed it.A couple days before the paint work began, they sent someone to pressure wash the entire house.  With timing befitting of a Greek tragedy, we scheduled the work to be done during the hottest week of the summer with temps nearly 100 degrees.  We coordinated with Parker and his team to arrive at 6am to take advantage of cooler temps.  Despite the uncooperative weather, the crew finished the job on schedule and the transformation is spectacular.  The entire crew at Smith & Co. are polite, professional, punctual and quality minded.  They treated our home like it was their own.  The entire crew is very knowledgeable and they were great about communicating with us.  At the end of each day, they walked us through what had been completed and what the plan for the next day was.  They kept the work area clean and organized and were very respectful of the neighbors.  A few of our neighbors even commented to me how efficient and polite the crew was.  My wife and I are very pleased with the entire process.  Our house looks amazing and we highly recommend Smith & Co. for your painting project.  We are already planning to have them back for a large indoor paint project.

Kitchen cabinets painting job - Very professional, high quality, detailed, and caring company to work with. We had been looking for a knowledgeable and experienced company to refinish our cabinets that were built in the early 90's. We were fortunate to have found Smith and Company. Mr. Parker came on site for the initial assessment and quote and it was evident that they had many years of experience. The whole process was very well communicated and the crew did a fantastic job. No rushing or cutting corners. The finish turned out with high quality and the crew did a great job cleaning and restoring the area. It was definitely one of the best experiences we had in our renovation project and we hope to be able to use them in future projects.

We absolutely LOVED working with Smith & Co Painting, and highly recommend them. From estimate to completion, from start to finish they were wonderful. The contract was clear and thought of everything, which we really appreciated - we knew we were going to be working with a very professional outfit. Parker was communicative and helpful as we tried to pick paint and stain colors, and throughout the job. Our crew, Miguel and Freddy, were extremely meticulous, always on time, conscientious, communicative, and cleaned up after themselves every evening. In fact, they made our deck usable over the weekend when there was a lot of work and equipment on the deck. And our job wasn't easy because they had to stain 20 foot tall deck ceilings over a 20 foot drop to our backyard (yep 40 feet in the air!), which required scaffolding, really tall ladders and a ton of protective plastic - but they taped off, hung plastic draping and didn't drip stain or paint because of that protective work. We were amazed. Smith pressure washed our whole house, fence and deck (including the unpainted brick), caulked everything, painted two coats on the entire exterior of our home, stained the fence, deck, railings and deck ceilings. They also drywalled, textured and painted several interior cable outlets we removed and you can't tell those outlets were ever there! A lot of the work was tedious but they conquered it methodically and our house looks amazing. Parker worked hard to make sure our experience was positive and seamless, communicated well and was always positive. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Smith & Company, and we will use them again. Thinking of hiring a painter? Call Smith & Company Painting! You won't regret it.
